Samsung has expanded its financing options for the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8 in India through the Galaxy Forever programme. Google has fixed an issue that affected a limited number of Google Pixel phones. The company said that there are “indications that CVE-2026-58704 may be under limited, targeted exploitation”. The attackers used a vulnerability related to the cellular modem that granted remote access to the Pixel phones. “In the cellular modem, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error in the code”, according to the recently issued advisory warning users. The zero-click exploit does not require Google Pixel phone users to take any action.

Apple has revealed a regional difference in the modem used by the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The company’s updated specifications indicate that the device uses its C2 cellular modem globally, except in the US, where reports point to a Qualcomm modem instead.
